IMP #3 – Nattsyl – GRP A1 + Uno Synth Pro livejam

IMP #3 - Nattsyl

Welcome the third IMP of the series: IMP #3 – Nattsyl.

Check out this video.

Join me on a sonic journey inspired by my visit to the picturesque towns of Castiglione del Lago on Lake Trasimeno in Umbria and Cortona in Tuscany, with a particular encounter at a Franciscan hermitage.

The heart of this track is a chord and bass progression, performed on the Uno Synth Pro and GRP A1. I composed and recorded the whole track in one shot during my stay. The sequencer and effects are from the UNO Synth Pro, so only minimal processing in the studio has been applied, preserving the raw energy of the original take.

This haunting track delves into the themes of isolation and transcendence into the afterlife. It is composed of a chords sequence and an insistent bassline, evoking a sense of introspection and contemplation.

The IMP series embodies the spirit of improvisation and sonic exploration in electronic music. Each chapter is a testament to pushing creative boundaries and embracing the unpredictable. Join me on this evocative sonic journey, where music transcends time and place.

This track has been featured in a compilation by the Italian synth lover community Synth Café titled “Duetto 002” which is very well worth checking out here on Bandcamp.
