IMP #2 – Glimmer: A Pristine Morning

The heart of this composition began with a live synth sequence, recorded on the Uno Synth Pro during my time in Kosovo, in the vibrant city of Pristina. The melody and rhythm capture the essence of a new day dawning, full of promise and a renewed zest for life, but without forgetting the dark of the past night: this is the spirit of Pristina.

In the studio, I deepened this aura by crafting a synthetic pad made with the Ensoniq SQ-80 and a shimmer reverb. The electronic beats, driven by Klevgrand Slammer with a heavy array of effects, complete the picture of the city’s enigmatic nature.

The IMP series embodies the spirit of improvisation and sonic exploration in electronic music. Each chapter pushes creative boundaries and celebrates the unpredictable.
