“Only by losing ourselves we can truly discover who we are.”

Daidalos is a reflection on the creative and destructive power of human ingenuity, portrayed through key moments in the life of the mythical figure Daedalus. Despite its ancient roots, the EP’s themes remain strikingly relevant today, exploring the mysterious allure of the labyrinth, a symbol of human inventiveness and the complexity of the mind. The Minotaur (Asterion) represents error and imprisonment, while the sun serves as a reminder of the dangers of exceeding one’s limits.

The title track, Daidalos, is structured around a mysterious theme, blending melodic synth layers, dreamy pads, and sharp basslines. The other tracks act as satellites, each focusing on a specific aspect. Helios is an epic harmonic progression, Labrys takes the main theme into a modular live jam with layered delays and filters, and Asterion is an atmospheric piece where metallic, repetitive notes and pauses build tension, eventually giving way to deep, textured bass arpeggios that dominate the final melody.
