About Cromelech project
Currently we are making new musics for the Cromelech album; in more details, we are writing: a slow symphonic-electronic interlude that will be titled Requiem, an aggressive electronic track with Vivaldi-like interlude that will be titled Havoc and a long electronic ballad in two parts. Other tracks are also under development. The next release is supposed to take place during september 2003.
About sound programming and sampling
We do love synths and we expecially like Korg Wavestation for wich we'll realease soon another bank of sounds (for free, as always) in collaboration with Aquila Rift. Hopefully within October 2003.
About other projects
Paolo is currently recording four tracks with Amaranto, a progressive-metal band from Bologna (IT). Among them a metal version of Escape (see Cromelech album), with female vocals. The final mix in mp3 format will be published in this site during September 2003.
Paolo is writing the musics and recording the sound effects for a fantasy rpg videogame that will be titled Warriors and Mages in collaboration with Matteo Bosi. See the mbrain team webpage for details.
We're actually working on new tracks with a stronger electronic approach - we're beginning to explore other environments such as horror, cyberpunk and progressive space music.
Paolo is partecipating in a collaborative ambient music project called RainWave created by Dan Downey. Please check
ambientissue.com for details. An mp3 titled Astray is been released, and soon it will become an EP with other artists' remixes. Access our page www.demiurgo.it/astray to listen to Paolo's dark soundscapes and the available remixes.
